DOES ENRICHING SENIORS' DINING EXPERIENCE INSPIRE YOU? We are seeking a Full-Time Dining Room Manager for our Dining Services Department within our Independent Living community. The Dining Room Manager will oversee food and beverage service to our residents along with managing and leading a front of the house team. In this role you will ensure the safety and satisfaction of our residents, while exercising the proper authority with dining services staff. This position will report to the Culinary Services Director.

PRINCIPLE DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Plan, maintain schedules and supervise the daily work assignments of the Front of House Dining team members
  • In collaboration with the Directors lead daily resident meal service, new hire and employee relations efforts
  • Balance dining service demands with supporting resident’s independence
  • Act as backup to Directors in their absence and ensure cross-training of Assistant Dining Room Manager
  • Respond to unexpected occurrences and know when to call for backup

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE/LICENSURE- CERTIFICATION

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Previous dining room and server experience
  • Demonstrated customer service and organizational skills
  • Basic Computer Skills: Word, Excel and Outlook
  • Ability to be on-call for staffing needs
  • CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire
