We at NASHUA CROSSINGS are looking for a compassionate Medical Nursing Assistant to join our team! As a MNA, your main role will be to deliver care to our residents within a warm, comfortable, and home-like environment.

We are looking for P/T LICENSED MNA's.

Pay rate: $25-$26.25 depending on experience.

MNA Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Communicates questions, concerns, and/or discrepancies related to medication administration/assistance to Director of Nursing.
  • Documents administration/assistance on Medication Observation Record (MOR).
  • Responsible for documentation on PRN meds and affect, as allowed per state regulations.
  • Checks all med books and ensures that meds have been given, treatments completed, and all initials are complete as state regulations permit

Job Requirements

MNA Requirements:

  • Must complete a state approved training course in medication administration and receive a certificate of satisfactory successful completion. Must retain NH license as applicable by state regulation.
  • Must also attend the Benchmark Medication Aide training program.
  • Must demonstrate competency in accordance with the state-approved protocol in drug administration/ assistance.
  • Successfully complete Medication Aide competency review (as supervised by RCD / RCN)
  • Must have current certification as a nursing assistant or have successfully completed the certified home health aide or homemaker/personal care homemaker training program.
  • High School education preferred
  • CPR certification required or ability to obtain within six months of hire
  • Physically able to move at least 50 lbs. without assistance
